Associate Memberships
The membership is open to those who have completed the professional examinations of DBF (old Syllabus), DABF, and HDBF along with relevant working experience in the banking and finance fields.
Qualified members recognized at the Annual Convocation of the IBSL, and they can claim the title, AIB and use with their names as internationally recognized professionals in Banking and Finance.
Associate Membership / AIB Sri Lanka
- Have completed the DABF /DBF examination of the IBSL and be a life member of the Institute, AND
- Be either in the Managerial Level ( Manager Grade or above) in a Bank/Financial institution or Non-Financial institution involving business operations connected with Banking & Finance OR
- With a minimum 4 years of working experience in a Bank/Finance institution or Non-Financial institution involving business operations connected with Banking & Finance
- submit his/her application duly recommended by the Head of HR /Head of the Division or Branch)

Members are kindly requested to keep their membership details up to date to offer better service by the IBSL. Any of such requests for changes of personal details should accompany the following mandatory documentary evidences.
